Tonya Mosley is the Silicon Valley bureau chief and host of “Truth Be Told” for KQED. She serves as the senior editor, leading a team of journalists covering the impacts of technology companies on the South Bay and society.

Cristina Kim is the producer for Truth Be Told as well as Forum, KQED’s live call-in program. Before joining KQED, Cristina was the engagement and collaboration manager at The Center for Investigative Reporting/ Reveal, where she produced creative engagement strategies to reach and serve new and underserved communities.

Farai Chideya is a novelist, journalist, and radio host. She currently produces and hosts the podcast "Our Body Politic." She is also Distinguished Writer in Residence at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute of New York University, where she teaches courses in radio production and media economics.Prior to 2009, Chideya was the host of the National Public Radio radio program "News & Notes." She produced and hosted the show "Pop and Politics with Farai Chideya," a series on politics that ran for 15 years, and the podcast "One with Farai." Before that, she hosted "Your Call," a daily radio call-in show on KALW in San Francisco. Chideya was a member of the improv comedy troupe The Immediate Gratification Players. She is also the founder and president the pop culture blog "PopandPolitics.com."In addition to radio, video and online journalism, Chideya appears as a political analyst on CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, ABC News, Fox News, BET and HBO. She is a senior writer for the website FiveThirtyEight.Chideya's first novel, "Kiss the Sky," was published in 2009. She is part of The Finish Party writing group, and is the author of three non-fiction books about race and politics: "Don't Believe the Hype," "The Color of Our Future," and "Trust: Reaching the 100 Million Missing Voters."Chideya began her career working for Newsweek magazine, MTV News, the Oxygen Network and the non-profit community news website, TheBeehive.org. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times Syndicate, The Chicago Tribune Syndicate, The American Prospect, The San Francisco Chronicle, Time Magazine, O: The Oprah Magazine, Vibe Magazine, Spin Magazine and Glamour.Chideya was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Harvard College.
