I wasn’t really that big of a fan of podcasts or even gaming but listening to these guys has really given me a keen sense of the pulse of the industry and what gaming is all about. Great podcast! Informative, funny, a great blend of modern and retro in its segments and most importantly, they are very good at audience interaction and feature elements written by their listeners on every show.

Amazing work by these guys offering extensive knowledge and coverage of anything worth hearing in gaming and oh my god George is like the Dani Behr of male broadcast voices

A podcast that truly gets their listeners involved, very interesting every week talks about a different topic or theme. Gets us laughing everytime and discussing with fellow gamers our opinion. They're also very lovely guys ?

Fantastic weekly podcast hosted by two top lads, George and Tom. Every week they have a feature which varies from history of specific consoles, to gaming genres or even gaming soundtracks. Great variety and a podcast that is designed to be suitable for all ages. The lads always design their show around the listeners, with listener comments being a major part of each show. Cannot recommend this podcast enough and it has created a great community on Instagram amongst the listeners. Follow on Instagram or Twitter, comment and you may get featured on the show.

I love these guys! I’m not a massive gamer myself but my son is so I use the podcast to keep up to date to help me sound like I know a bit more than I actually do. I love the retro stuff. The bus trip the other week was awesome, gotta love a good soundtrack.

Definitely one of my favorite gaming podcasts! I really enjoy listening to them and they know their stuff. Funny, fan engaging and entertaining, you might actually learn a thing or two as well. I highly recommend to give them a listen!

I genuinely enjoy the consistency, the topics and the love that the show brings. They always crack little jokes here and there to give the show a bit a of a relaxed feel. The topics are interesting and have great range. My favorite part of the podcast is that they ask for listener opinion on a topic they are going to record. They always ask to use their listeners opinion for the show and it gives an audience member a great shoutout. I believe this segment is going to take off with time, more and more people are participating to get their opinions heard in a safe-fun manner. GREAT JOB GUYS, KEEP IT UP!

These guys have become one of my favorite gaming podcasts. Their cast of characters are entertaining and the use of real opinions submitted by real gamers makes them that much more relatable. Its informative and family friendly brand of humor has a real charm. I highly recommend giving the UCP a shot.

Ive never really had an interest in podcasts as I find that a lot of them just talk at you in a dulcet tone like an audiobook. That is until I found Unofficial Controller Podcast. The friendly and charismatic hosts interact with listeners on social media, incorporating these comments into the show, giving it a 'local radio' feel. This is more than just a podcast, this is the building of a community and I (along with many others no doubt) wouldn't miss an episode.

So here the thing about this podcast.I'm a huge video game collector and player and came across these gents on Instagram, quickly enjoying their posts and how they pull a community together.I've gained not just followers but friends through them and that's something I haven't seen a podcast achieve.I hadn't listened to Podcasts in years and years until I finally game theirs a chance, and now I listen weekly.They involve their community, they hurt my wallet with new knowledge of games coming our, and I thank them.There are a lot of podcasts that are video game centric but none that touch theunofficialcontroller on being community oriented.Will co tinue listing to them for a long time to come!
