Right now the world currently watches the $50 million defamation trial that Johnny Depp launched against his ex-wife Amber Heard after she described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article for The Washington Post.

Like so many, I have been deeply immersed in watching this trial unfold. Not only because I have been a big Johnny Depp fan throughout my life, but also because it has touched upon so many important issues particularly domestic violence, against both women and men.
