I rarely listen to anything outside of the True Crime category...but then I stumbled across this amazing Pod!! I was hooked after 1 episode. I absolutely love the format that Scott uses. I enjoy the huge variety of topics that are discussed!! Getting such a vast variety of topics is like a breath of fresh air. The stories are amazing and Scott covers them brilliantly!! Something NEW EVERY EPISODE!! I HIGHLY recommend this pod!!!

This is an excellent podcast. Each guest is interviewed with compassion and the host knows how to get the best possible story from each. I ALWAYS want to know "What was that like"!

This is probably one of the most unique podcast I'm listening to right now. Every episode, you hear a "normal everyday" person share something crazy that happened to them! I love that the format of the podcast allows you to hear the story first hand and not retold from a news report. So far each episode has been really intriguing. The best thing about this podcast is that episodes aren't released on a schedule, which means each topic is selected and planned out with no rush. I have really enjoyed each episode so far!

I really enjoy this podcast and how every episode is unique. I always learn something new and gain a deeper understanding just how resilient people can be. I like how the episodes focus on the stories and aren’t littered with tons of ads. The host does a great job asking questions we aren’t all wondering about the situation. Keep up the great work!!

This is the most genius concept I have ever heard for a podcast. And Scott Johnson delivers. The content can be anything from fun and interesting like his Shark Tank contestant to downright disturbing like the gym owner who's wife put a hit on him. Definitely a must listen.

This is one of the greatest Podcasts out there. Real people sharing real experiences with a host that asks all of the right questions! Very informative and enjoyable

LOVE this show. The stories are amazing and interesting. Scott Johnson does a great job of editing and pulling the story together.

Fridays are great, end of the week getting psyched for the weekend, What Was That Like is the cherry on top of a Friday! Every episode is unique and full of emotion. I absolutely love it! Here we go!

I have over 130 podcasts that I listen to, but this is one that gets a spot in my subscribed-to list. I've listened to every episode and love all of them, and anticipate each one. Scott is a brilliant interviewer and hunts down regular folks with truly unique stories to tell. I love it!

Scott is a very likable guy. He gives people plenty time to talk and only interrupts when absolutely required. I think he's the perfect interviewer. I always look forward to listening to the latest episode on my early morning walks. Here's to many more years of the show.

One of the most intriguing, capturing and heart felt podcasts I’ve ever listened to! Great true stories with an amazing host. Scott gets straight into the stories and is so respectful. Everyone needs “What Was That Like” in their lives.

I can not stop listening to this podcast just found it a week ago and I am at episode 78 Scott does an amazing job finding the people and telling the story the questions he asks on certain things are just well questions we want answered and to be honest some the questions you must of asked before hand cause they are some personal questions ! I am hooked to this show and am so glad to see it's still going strong
