I've just started listening to The Bechdel Cast but I am enjoying it. I think they select a decent range of popular movies and the episodes are usually very funny (though it can be different to distinguish the hosts' voices at times). They are not doing high-level academic analysis, more a casual conversation between women about films and women. Still, they fulfill their mission, as the Bechdel-Wallace test looks for the absolute bare minimum of female representation in movies. Highly recommended!

As a feminist and a Harry Potter fan, I really enjoyed this episode! Very funny with some thoughtful comments about the representation of women in the series. Maggie Maye has a great laugh!

Gilmore Guys is a fun podcast for fans of the Gilmore Girls television show. The hosts are likable and treat the show with reverence, humor, and care. Their guests aren't always great, especially early on -- they would pull people for name recognition who had never seen the show before or who hated it without any constructive discussion -- but by the third or fourth season hit a good rotation of people. The live shows aren't much fun to listen to after the fact but were probably enjoyable for those in attendance.
