Most elucidating and entertaining! This episode is a short tour touching on some of the most significant events and aspects of Fyodor's life and it was awesome to hear from Alex Christofi on the conception of his new work Dostoevsky in Love. I can't wait to read it! Particularly enjoyed the lending-money-from-Turgenev story and it was also intriguing to hear the names of Dostoevsky's other novelist friends mentioned, as well as how Dostoevsky compared to more famous writers Turgenev and Tolstoy.
