In the guardhouse Father Maroni, secret leader of the blood cult, is forced to reveal his true form, a wirithing deadly mass of blood and tentacles. Perrwinkle O'Rourke feels Silversteel burn white hot in his hands, Leo Shadow gets deputised, and Gregg Piss has an army. Salvation for the city is in sight, but it's going to take everything they've got to get there.
