Drake and Luda back when they were BFF.Looks like beef is in the air! And I'm not talkin' about Five Guys Burgers.
Actually, Ludacris (of all people) has a new diss track entitled "Bada Boom", which takes aim at Drake and Big Sean.
Because Luda plays the subliminals game here and doesn't name drop on the track it might be useful to explain some of the history behind this. This all stems from comments Drake made last year about the so-called "Supa Dupa" style of rhyming (you know, that blah blah blah
PUNCHLINE blah blah blah PUNCHLINE flow) , so called because it was popularized by Big Sean on his 2009 track "Supa Dupa", and later made more popular by Drake and Young Money.
Of course, like Autotune, the box haircut, and cross-color shirts, anytime you have a gimmicky fad, it's going to be completely overused...to the point where people who used it are embarrassed that they were associated with it. According to Drake:
